NAME - thank you for your message, and welcome to Wake Forest! We look forward to getting to know your family better over the next four years.

Wake Forest does not have a parent portal (like the kind you might have had in high school). There are several reasons for that, including the fact that once a student turns 18, their educational record belongs to them (not their family as it did when they were a minor).

Instead, there are several processes that your student can give you access to if they choose, such as giving you third-party access to the financial system to pay the bills (highly recommended) as well as access to their grades (which is called Proxy Access). Those processes are controlled by the student, so you can talk as a family about what your expectations are and they can grant you access accordingly.

Hope that gives you a place to get started. Please be in touch any time we can be of assistance to your family.

Best,

Betsy
