Thanks for your message and your very understandable question. We have a student-run venture called Storage Scholars that was started in 2017 (and was seen on Shark Tank). One of the reasons people like Storage Scholars is for the benefit of not having to tote your boxes anywhere - you pack them in your room, they collect and store for the summer. Then when August comes, your boxes are delivered to your room. That could be a good a solution for some, but not everyone. You can learn more here: https://www.storagescholars.com/

We do not have on-campus storage, but there are a number of very close off-campus storage facilities. Some students rent local storage units (sometimes on their own, sometimes they go in as a group and split the cost). There are a number of places in town, and it can be a useful exercise for students to do the research and see which one looks good and make a recommendation to their family (if the family is paying for it). This is what I did myself as a Wake student, and for my own '27 at NC State, we rented a storage place in Raleigh to store things. It turned out to be a great solution.

Hope that helps - and best wishes,
Betsy
